Our Top 5 Must See Artists at EDC Orlando

The city of Orlando is preparing for one of the busiest weekends of the year as 55 DJs from around the world will perform at Electric Daisy Carnival on November 10 and 11. This year there will be three massive stages (kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, and neonGARDEN). With a stellar lineup and many veteran artists including Kaskade, Armin van buuren, Zedd, Jauz, Marshmello, Boombox Cartel, Zomboy, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. We thought we’d give you our five must-see artists performing this weekend.

5. K?D

Saturday 6:30-7:30PM at circuitGROUNDS
Not much is known about K?D except he’s a 20-year-old from Miami. He’s fairly new to the scene but has received much praise and support. K?D has a sound that resembles a hybrid of Daft Punk, Porter Robinson, and Justice. He performed at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, so we can only imagine what type of set he will bring to his home state.

4. PURGE

Saturday 1:00-2:15PM at circuitGROUNDS
Another mysterious artist is PURGE. Eric and Doug formed the project in 2016 and have emerged as a duo to be wrecken with. They debuted their EP “Feel Your Love” on Skrillex’s platform Nest HQ and received support from some of the top DJ/Producers in the world including San Holo, Krewella, and QUIX. They make their own sound by taking elements from other genres, blending them together to make a unique sound and labeling it “dark bass”. PURGE will be making their festival debut in front of their hometown crowd of Orlando.

3. JOYRYDE

Saturday 7:30-8:35PM at circuitGROUNDS
Known for his unconventional blend of high-octane sounds, JOYRYDE has crafted a world for himself surrounded by a unique musical attitude, and support stemming from Skrillex, DJ Snake, Diplo, Axwell x Ingrosso, Tchami, and Alesso. Hailing from the UK, JOYRYDE rose from completely unknown to one of the most buzzing acts within the past year.

2. NGHTMRE

Saturday 6:58-8:00PM at kineticFIELD
NGHTMRE is no stranger to the scene. With chart topping hits like “Street”, “Lighters Up” (with Flosstradamus), and “Feel Your Love” (with Flux Pavilion), he has played almost every major festival including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, TomorrowWorld, Bonnaroo, LifeInColor, and headlined several world tours. Expect his set to feature new music, featured guests (possibly his good friends Slander), and be full of energy. Having seen NGHTMRE several times, he still continues to amaze us.

1. Diplo b2b A-Trak

Friday 9:12-10:40PM at kineticFIELD
No intro is needed for either of these two, but combine them together and you get a Jordan-Pippen combination on the decks. Both veterans of the DJ game, Diplo and A-Trak rarely play sets going back-to-back, so attendees this year are in for a treat.
