Top 5 First-Time Acts to See at EDC Orlando

With more than 65 artists scheduled to perform this weekend at EDC Orlando (November 9-10), there a few who will be performing for the first time at EDC Orlando even though they have already performed at previous EDC’s. We gathered a list of five of our must see first-time acts.

ACRAZE
Performing in-front of his hometown, this will be ACRAZE’s (pronounced Ah-craze) first time performing at EDC Orlando and he’s doing it big, very big by performing on the main stage on Friday at 1PM. The up-and-coming DJ/producer told himself in 2015 while watching 4B at EDC Orlando that that’s what he wanted to do, and it’s great to finally see him fulfill his dream. He has received support from the likes of DJ Snake, 4B, GTA, Nitti Gritti, and many more.

SHARPS
Last year, Sharps won a contest to DJ at Corona’s Electric Beach, so technically this won’t be his first time, but it will be his first time on one of the main stages. The Seattle DJ/producer just released an EP “Madhouse” featuring some great bass-infused dubstep tracks. His sets are wild and lively, so I can only imagine what he’ll bring to Orlando. You can catch him at the Boombox Art Car stage on Saturday at 4PM.

KANDY

KANDY
I’ve been a long-time fan of KANDY. He has worked so hard to get this far in the industry and it fills with me with so much joy to finally see him perform on the main stage. His high-energy sets will leave you craving more, you can see Kandy open the main stage on Saturday at 1PM.

JAYCEEOH
A OG to the DJ world as an accomplished open-format DJ, Jayceeoh is also not a stranger to festivals, but this will be his first time performing at EDC Orlando. His production has been supported by A-Trak, Diplo, Bassnectar, and many more. He’s also a member of 1000Volts, a super-duo with hip-hop icon Redman, and creator of the popular mixtape series “Super 7” which is a collaboration mixtape featuring some of the best DJs in the world. Jayceeoh’s sets are unique as he combines his production and DJ technical skills, so his shows are unlike anybody else you will find at EDC. You can see him close the Boombox Art Car stage on Saturday at 11PM.

MALAA
Who is the mystery man behind the ski mask? Following in the foot steps of Parisian producers DJ Snake, Tchami, and Mercer, MALAA is making his own lane. His jaw dropping production and house sets leaves you wondering who is the man behind the mask. You can see MALAA at the Circuit Grounds stage on Saturday at 7PM.
